Vezzoli-Lancini Home Gallery: Atelier and Exhibited Works

The Vezzoli-Lancini Home Gallery houses the studio and the space where Osvaldo Vezzoli’s paintings and graphic works are displayed, as well as those by Marta Vezzoli.

Artistic initiatives hosted in the Home Gallery

The farmhouse setting of the Home Gallery hosted several artistic initiatives, including a theatrical performance, the presentation of the book “Ricette strada facendo” by Angela Lancini, several jazz sessions, and an evening of Argentine tango.

Osvaldo Vezzoli: education and professional activity

Osvaldo Vezzoli attended the Liceo Artistico Statale in Bergamo, where he graduated with a high school diploma in art with a score of 58/60 in 1969. In 1975, he graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan with a score of 100/100 with honors. He has worked as an architect and professor of Art and Image. He has been painting and exhibiting since 1970.

Awards, exhibitions, monuments and publications

In 1976, he received the “Durante Duranti” Award from the Municipality of Palazzolo sull’Oglio for his thesis, which focused on proposals for the city’s historic center. In 1986, he received the “City of Palazzolo sull’Oglio” civic award for his research and educational exhibition on the history of the hamlet of San Pancrazio and its surrounding area. In 1987, he organized an exhibition on the events that led to the incorporation of San Pancrazio into Palazzolo sull’Oglio in 1962. In 1986, he designed the Monument to the Anti-Fascist Resistance, in 2010, the Monument to the Martyrs of the Istrian Foibe, and in 2024, the Memorial to the Victims of the 1945 Bombing of the Railway Bridge. He has written eight books on local history and numerous historical and artistic articles in magazines and newspapers. Osvaldo Vezzoli’s artistic work is documented in numerous published catalogs and newspaper articles.
