Atelier Elisa Martinelli

Material art between gesture, experimentation, and contemporary design

Elisa Martinelli creates textural artworks that emerge from gesture, experimentation, and direct contact with materials.
She works with concrete, resin, iron, wood, and recycled materials to create paintings, sculptures, and installations that blend art and contemporary design.
It all stems from the need to create with her hands—not just to paint, but also to carve, hollow out, shape, and experiment with new materials and techniques, always striving to push the boundaries further: it is precisely from the most absurd elements that something extraordinary can emerge.

Biography and major exhibitions of Elisa Martinelli

Elisa Martinelli was born in 1989 in Brescia.
Having always been drawn to design and everything related to it, she was introduced to art in part thanks to her uncle, a painter and sculptor.
After earning her degree in Interior Design, she worked for years at a high-end fashion boutique, continuing to nurture her passion for art in her spare time, until she decided to devote herself entirely to it.
She has recently exhibited her works in several solo exhibitions: in 2025, “Crepe” at the Grand Hotel Fasano in Gardone Riviera and “Meetings” at the LK Design Gallery in Iseo.
In addition, she has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including: in 2025, “Rinascita” at Bottega Alta in Rezzato and the group exhibition at the Mazzoleni Art Gallery in Bergamo; in 2024 at Galleria Ekaros in Forte dei Marmi and Gare 82 in Brescia; in 2021, he participated in the “Organics by Red Bull” event at Atena Multiforme in Brescia; in 2019, “Astrattismo” at Art Luxury Gallery, during Fuorisalone; and in 2018 at Brick Lane Gallery in London.
