- Paderno Franciacorta
The smallest municipality in Franciacorta, it lies on flat land largely given over to agriculture and vineyards. Surrounded by greenery and away from the main transport routes, it offers a peaceful, well-kept setting ideal for those in search of tranquillity.
WHAT TO SEE
Baitelli Oldofredi Palace – Donated to the municipality at the beginning of the 20th century by Countess Maria Cristoni, the villa preserves an impressive 18th-century entrance with wrought iron gates and stone architecture. The current building dates back to the 18th century and has been enriched by subsequent restorations. Of particular charm is the central portico with nine arches, decorated with elegant, sculpted busts that enhance its artistic value.
Oldofredi Castle – The historic centre of Paderno Franciacorta preserves traces of the ancient medieval castle, built after the year 1000 as a refuge against invasions. Today, in the main square, you can admire two circular towers and an elegant Gothic arch, which marks the transition between the stone and brick structures of the medieval era and the more recent Renaissance-style buildings.
Church of San Pancrazio – Located outside the historic centre, the current church is the result of a renovation between the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The Baroque façade is striking for its elegant statues and decorative details, while the interior houses valuable frescoes by two important 18th-century artists from Brescia: Pietro Scalvini and Giuseppe Teosa, the latter being a key figure in the transition to Neoclassical art in the area.
Belvedere Tower – Built in 1843 on a small panoramic hill, it is one of the symbols of Paderno Franciacorta. The upper tower, which once served as a dovecote, is topped by an iron flag engraved with the year of construction.

The stretch that crosses Paderno Franciacorta offers beautiful views in a picturesque natural setting.
