Television by Paola Giglio – Wonderland Festival

On Saturday, October 24th, at 9:00 pm at the Cinema Teatro Parrocchiale Cristoforo Torri in Cologne, actress and comedian Paola Giglio will take the stage with “Television,” her electrifying debut in the world of stand-up comedy. A brilliant and irreverent show born from the idea of transforming domestic laziness into an opportunity to observe, with irony and a critical eye, the phenomena of pop culture and the media catchphrases that accompany our daily lives.

Through a direct style, a fast-paced rhythm, and a sharp dose of self-deprecating humor, “Television” overturns the traditional perspective thanks to its original “genre lenses,” challenging stereotypes, language, and social dynamics that are often taken for granted. From songs that have defined entire generations to routine doctor’s visits, every situation becomes a pretext to intelligently dismantle cultural clichés and offer a satirical, surprising, and deeply relevant perspective.
