Reading group

On Tuesday November 17th, at 8:30 pm, at the Ospitaletto Municipal Library, a new session of the “Raccontiamoci un libro” reading group, organised by Heiko H. Caimi, is scheduled to take place.

The session will focus on Francesca Melandri’s romance “Eva dorme”, a story that combines personal experiences with collective history, recounting a difficult chapter in Italian history through the circumstances of South Tyrol.

From the period of Fascist Italianisation through the years of separatist terrorism, right up to the difficult coexistence between the German and Italian communities, the book explores themes such as identity, language, a sense of belonging and the relationship between the past and the present.

Free admission.
