Lungo la Via del Romanino – Festival diffuso 2026: Guided visit and exhibition “Vita nuova. Spiritualità al femminile”

On Sunday, October 18th, at 2:30 pm at the Olivetan Benedictine Abbey of Saints Nicholas and Paul VI in Rodengo Saiano, there will be a guided tour led by Fabio Larovere, artistic director of the festival “I volti del Romanino. Rabbia e fede”.

At 4:00 pm, this will be followed by the performance “Vita nuova. Spiritualità al femminile’, performed by Laura Mantovi, an actress, and Daniela Savoldi on the cello.

Through storytelling and music, the performance takes the audience on a journey through female spirituality and art, from the figures of Saint Angela Merici, a contemporary of Romanino, and Saint Teresa of Ávila, to Thérèse of Lisieux and Edith Stein. A journey through different eras and sensibilities, exploring experiences of faith, inner reflection and witness.

The event, organised by the Cieli Vibranti Association, forms part of the “Lungo la Via del Romanino” Festival, a cultural itinerary that takes in some of the most iconic sites of Lombardy’s artistic heritage, following in the footsteps of Romanino’s work.
