L’Arte di Rendersi Infelici by Lab Perm – Wonderland Festival

On Friday, October 30th, at 9:00 pm at the Auditorium di San Salvatore in Rodengo Saiano, “L’Arte di Rendersi Infelici” takes the stage, a brilliant and irreverent comedy that ironically turns the very concept of well-being on its head. This original production, through an irresistible living guide, takes the audience on a journey to discover the most effective strategies for complicating one’s life, transforming anxieties, worries, and small daily dramas into a hilarious opportunity for reflection.

Through a succession of dynamic scenes, paradoxical gags, and examples that are as entertaining as they are enlightening, “The Art of Making Yourself Unhappy” highlights the surprising ability of human beings to create obstacles and imaginary enemies for themselves, even in an era of unprecedented technological progress. The result is a “therapeutic” comedy that uses self-deprecating humor to expose our mental habits and invite us to view our fragilities with a lighthearted perspective. An intelligent and engaging show that, amid laughter and paradoxes, demonstrates how learning to recognize our own shadows can be the first step toward laughing at ourselves.

The show is part of the “La Misura del Tempo” series, a collection of five events selected to address, exorcise, and overcome the anxiety of the end together. Because, spoiler alert, we all die in the end… but in the meantime, we can laugh about it at the theater.
