Film screening “Frida” – Mercoledì d’Autore 2026″

On Wednesday, September 23rd, at 9:00 pm, at the Teatro Rizzini in Cazzago San Martino, there will be a film screening of “Frida”, directed by Julie Taymor.

The film tells the story of the famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, focusing on her troubled relationship with her husband Diego Rivera and the artistic and political milieu that surrounded them. Affected by polio and a serious accident, Frida transformed her pain and her intense personal life into works that have become symbols of her extraordinary expressive power.

The event is part of the “Mercoledì d’Autore” film festival.
