- Adro and the Risorgimento: Historical-cultural itinerary
Event Details
On Sunday October 25th, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, starting from Palazzo Dandolo in Adro, a historical and cultural tour is scheduled to explore the Dandolo family and its links with the Italian Risorgimento, as part of the “Trame di Territorio” project.
The day will include visits to sites of historical interest, some of which are not normally open to the public, as well as short theatrical performances. The route will take in Palazzo Dandolo, the Galeter, the Bargnani-Dandolo chapel, the TIR on Monte Alto and the Dandolo family tomb in the cemetery.
The tour is self-guided, following the map available at the starting point. To reach the TIR, there is an uphill walk of about 15 minutes, so trainers are recommended.
Participation is free and no booking is required, but you must register at Palazzo Dandolo from 8:45 am for the morning session and from 1:45 pm for the afternoon session.
The day will conclude with a conference dedicated to Enrico and Emilio Dandolo, led by Professor Luciano Faverzani.
