51st Palio of the historic districts

On Saturday, October 3rd, from 5:30 pm, with participants meeting at Piazza del Municipio in Castegnato, the 51st edition of the Palio delle Antiche Contrade is scheduled to take place, an evening dedicated to tradition, sport and conviviality.

The event will start with a procession through the town’s streets, accompanied by the town band, and the presentation of the Palio.

This will be followed by the 400-metre heats and the Minipalio, with the respective prize-giving ceremony.

There will also be a food stand open from 7:00 pm throughout the evening.
