On Friday, September, 11th, at 8:45 pm, in the charming, historic setting of Borgo Pieve in Erbusco, in the heart of Franciacorta, the Wind Quintet, comprising the first chairs of the ‘Milano Classica’ Orchestra, together with flautist and conductor Michele Brescia, will present a refined and captivating concert that combines great operatic tradition with brilliant chamber music, thanks to the presence of tenor Riccardo Della Sciucca, a highly regarded and acclaimed soloist on the national stage.
The programme takes the audience on a journey through some of the most famous arias from the operatic repertoire and Italian song, including La donna è mobile, E lucevan le stelle, Recondita armonia, Una furtiva lagrima, Nessun dorma, the Brindisi from La Traviata, O sole mio, Non ti scordar di me, alongside iconic pieces such as Maria from West Side Story and Funniculì funniculà.
The concert is enhanced by powerful instrumental pieces, including the overtures from The Marriage of Figaro, The Magic Flute and The Barber of Seville, which highlight the quintet’s versatility and elegance.

In case of bad weather, the concert will take place inside the Pieve (Piazza Castello).
