Event Details
On Friday, July, 24th, at 8:45 pm, at Piazzetta De André in Provaglio d’Iseo, an evening dedicated to memory and history is scheduled to take place.
During the event, the historical research project “Sangue a Monza” will be presented, focusing on the tragic events of April 9th, 1944, when four young soldiers were shot by the nazi-fascists. Among the victims was Antonio Simoni, a resident of Provaglio d’Iseo, whose story represents an important link between the local community and one of the most painful episodes of the Resistance.
The event will provide an opportunity for historical insight and reflection, with the aim of keeping alive the memory of these young men’s sacrifice and the values of freedom, democracy and peace that inspired the struggle for liberation.
Free admission.
